Abigail “Abby” Elliott was born in New York, on June 16, 1987, is an American actress and comedian known for her work of 4 seasons on Saturday Night Live between 2008 and 2012.
Elliott took classes at The Groundlings and eventually began his training on sketch comedy, at the shows of Upright Citizens Brigade Theater (UCB), in Los Angeles.
In 2006, Elliott participated in small roles in the comedies “You’ve Reached The Elliotts” and “Chrissy: Plain & Simple”, both pilots participated his father, Chris Elliott. While at UCB, she frequently participated in The Midnight Show. Sometimes his younger sister Bridey participated. Abby before joining the SNL cast, performed voices for King of The Hill and Minoriteam. She also participated in Late Night with Jimmy Fallon sketches, such as Jersey Floor and 6-Bee. Elliott made her first film, in a small role in No Strings Attached and has appeared in support roles in the films High Road and Fun Size.
Since her departure from SNL in 2012, Elliott has made appearances on television shows such as: 2 Broke Girls, How I Met Your Mother, Happy Endings, and Inside Amy Schumer.
