The actress Krysten Alyce Ritter was born on December 16, 1981 in the city of Bloonsburg (Pennsylvania), in the United States. Ritter grew up on a cattle farm near Shickshinny, Pennsylvania, where his mother, stepfather and sister still live; while his father lives near Benton. The actress has no relationship with the late John Ritter.
She was discovered at the age of 15, by a modeling agent, while walking through the shopping of her hometown. Krysten said that at the time she was “tall, ungainly, clumsy and very, very thin”.
